Lamination Technician Job Summary This position is responsible for laminating carbon fiber and fiberglass parts placing material on molds for the automotive, medical, and defense industries.
Adheres to quality programs, policies, and initiatives.
Summary of Essential Job Functions Clean, inspect, and assemble molds prior to laminating Apply layers of carbon fiber or fiberglass to mold surfaces, using hands and tools to smooth out wrinkles and air bubbles Apply plastic, breather material, and a vacuum bag to laminated product for curing Connect hoses and wires to vacuumed parts for autoclave curing Physical Requirements Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time Constant and repetitive movement of fingers, hands, and wrists Must be able to lift 20
lbs; heavier molds will be managed by two people, or forklift utilized Minimum Requirements Ability to manage time to meet production schedules and deadlines Functions well in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment Demonstrates excellent team building and teamwork skills Possess good decision-making and organizational skills Good communication with team members and management Highly motivated and results-oriented Possess an eye for detail Ability to work a flexible schedule with overtime when production demands Willingness and ability to adapt to changing job duties, requirements, and cross training as needed Professional appearance as defined by employee handbook Ability to adhere to all policies outlined in employee handbook Possess reliable transportation Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening Benefit Conditions:
